Zaabalawi #5

Discuss what Sheikh Gad, the well-known Composer, might reveal about the nature of Zaabalawi (807-809).

  1. Sheikh Gad helped the narrator realize that Zaabalawi wasn't hard to find; he's not supposed to be found. Zaabalawi causes the narrator suffering because he has to go through the pain before receiving the pleasure. Zaabalawi "brings fatigue to all who seek him" (808). This shows that he isn't meant to be found. Knowing this new information about the ways of Zaabalawi, the narrator still continues trying to find him.

  2. Sheikh Gad is a musician who credits his works to Zaabalawi, too. When the narrator met him, he told the narrator that how Zaabalawi provided him a new way of looking in live, and gave him many opportunities meeting of new people and caused his lives to entwine with love and happiness. It tells the narrator that finding Zaabalawi is endless task, but also encourages the narrator to further develop the spiritual from the people he met, he will eventually find him.
