Is war inevitable? Will we ever see an end to warfare?

  1. I don't think the war is something we will ever see and end to. we as the people sometimes have a lot of unvoiced hatered that we hide. Until we can all find away to handle certain situations with our minds instead of with our hands than maybe one day it can end. I don'y see it no time soon. Their are to many people with different ways of thinking and handling violent situations. Most wars we as the people never have a full say so in the matter. Untill we as the people have a say if we want TO GO TO WAR. As the majority only then can we began to conceed that their wont be any more wars. Or at least have a say so in the matter. Think about the children who have to grow up in those other countries and really be involved with participation wether they want to or not. It's sad if you think about the people who are really affected by this.

  2. War is inevitable; however, the world we live in is too ignorant to realize that war doesn't settle anything. Even though every country has its own problems, war isn't the only way to solve things. If something were to be solved because of war, another problem would come to the surface. Wars lead to more wars -- it's never going to end. It seems to have become sort of a trend now. Peace is merely a dream in this world.

  3. war will eternally perpetuate its existence so long as we continue our gluttonous, egocentric ways of power and control. Among power and control, inequality is prevalent in that not everyone is guaranteed an opportunity. Methodical obstacles such as discrimination and racism in this country since its existence prevents many from attaining fair treatment and equality. For these reasons, within our country, war as a cycle will continue to repeat itself.

  4. I think war is inevitable because we have limited resources on the earth and our growth of population is still increasing. One day, we may face the short of resources, so what should we do? We may fight for the resources. In this way, stronger country can still alive and it will make the death rate increases. It means there are less humans in the earth at that time. Some of the people say, "We might not face this war because there may be a huge disaster coming forward to the world and many people may die in the disaster." Yes, it may happen, but why we also have the negative thought and not positive. If we work together, we may not face the short of resources. However, some of the countries are making some researches for the weapons. Additionally, we may have war in the space. War will not has the ending because if there are still something that we need to fight for, and then there will be a war. It may not be a big war, but there still are people die in the war. Is it necessary? I don't think so. War will waste our resources in a large amount. Many countries are using a large amount of money and resources to prepare the weapons for the war. Also, we counts people as human resources. We also put a large amount of people to do what they don't want to do and they have to give up the future. Is it necessary?

  5. People fight for their country, their religions, or their own purposes, which are so-called ethnocentrism, religiocentrism, and egocentrism. Most of people think that their countries, religions are morally superior to any other, so they don’t feel guilty when they fight for these reasons. However, we should adopt the fact that there are many religions and countries in the world, by understanding the differences between them. Or should we only have only one country and one religion in the world, so we may see an end of warfare?

  6. War is inevitable and as sad as it sound, we'll never see an end to warfare. It has been around since the beginning of human existence. Human greed, selfishness, and lust for power will never end thus warfare will never end. It is inevitable, especially now, corruption in our government system in lust for money can trigger war throughout. All this justice, terror, and other nonsense are just excuses to bring out warfare for more money, better productions, and boost in economy.

  7. I think war is not inevitable if our government put citizens’ life in first place, and it is not acceptable using violence or military force to solve problems, it will never end to warfare but only lead to more blood revenges. War is not only created a massive destruction, and also profoundly contributed millions people in losing their family, lovers, and properties and so on- the damages of war were great throughout the history. Although it is seemingly war had been part of our human nature/civilization history in various situations/matters. In other word, wherever lives are there, there will be wars. Of all the forms that human violence takes ever since the World War II ended, people view the cause of war is not race or religion, but the economic inequality. War is using to invade countries and to take away their properties. One often claim that they attempt to help them solving the inner country problems, they just make it nice. Therefore I do not like the idea of war.

  8. In my point of view, I think war is not inevitable in nowadays world. In this two thousand century, technologies are all well developed. Different country will have different implements to threaten others in order to build up their own power. Most of the wars are related to the economics issue or religion. Therefore I think it is not inevitable to solve problem between wars, however this is the only method which can be most convincing in the whole world. This is always true.

  9. Yes, war is inevitable and there never be a day that we can end the wars forever. Because there is always difference betweeen people, races, cultures, and countries. Unfortunately, the difference is inevitable.People standing on a higher position always want to get more power than other because of their privilege; however, people in a lower position don't want to lose their power. So as long as there is different and argument between two group, there will be a problem. When the problem up grade to hate, people have to use violent to solve the problem. So as long as people stop fighting in stead of thinking about other, there won't be a day we can see an end to warfare......

  10. The debate of warfare ceasing is likely impossible, specifically in this era, for a multitude of reasons. The first from my understanding would be the cultural clashes and barriers that have divided us for many centuries. Personally, I do not understand why people are so immersed and concerned about their cultures, reluctant to sacrifice them for the sake of universalism to the extent that they would sacrifice their freedoms to preserve it.

If we want a surefire method to cease warfare and conflict, then the first step is to universalize communication. Inevitably, there will be sacrifices, but the benefits surely outweigh the negatives and in time, they will heal and adjust. Global wars occur approximately every six decades or so, and are usually caused by tyrants who are unwilling to give up their power for the benefit of the majority.

Despite the fact that the steps for imitating warfare is complicated on so many levels, the reasons for doing so is usually trivial and unjust. Warfare is not conducted by the manic buffoons who believe that they are above the law, but by civilians who are occasionally and unwillingly drafted to sacrifice their lives for nothing. The fact of the matter is, if we are able to communicate with one another and negotiate peacefully, the thought and utter existence of warfare would cease. However, the fact that all people accepting this is extremely difficult because one rotten tomato spoils the entire bunch.

  11. War is too valuable to end. People would like to see it end, but never will. There will always be war when their humans living on this planet. sooner or later people will be fighting over every little thing. War is something that has been going on for such a time that to some people think it's part of life. I think the only way to end war on earth is having every single country start launching nuclear weapons all over the earth and just kill everything and everyone on it.

  13. Many events that happen over last 10 years are unavoidable,we never had see any events like 9/11 happen within US before and that result in wars. We can't just let a group of people who has no goverment attacked us. We will never see the end of warfare, wars been around since begining of time and the warfare environments will change over time. These days warfare, the people who helping you might be the one who pointing the guns at you.

  14. In my opinions, I think the war is inevitable and we will not see the end of the war. As above opinions, I agreed with that the resources are limited. In fact, when we looked around, most wars were broken because of the limited resources. I think Force of human contradiction is the way that it can be resolved the problems. Furthermore, most people are selfish and desire. We all try our best to fill full our desires. In fact, for some people they don’t want to fight because they believed people could live with each other peaceful. However, for most people who want to fight because they don’t want others share the limited resources with them. For example, would you mind homeless lives in your house for free? I think most people wouldn’t do that. In fact, infringing on the interests of the fuse is the cause of the war.

  15. My answer is definitely "yes". People start wars for their desires. Someone wants lands, someone wants money. Someone cleans up oppositions via wars. Or, the oppositions just revenge through the same way. As a result, the wars are never end. As long as people are greedy, there are wars in our world. However, they may cover up the wars by beautiful excuses. Such as punishment, fighting for peace, etc. No matter how great their excuses are, wars hurt the world bad.

  16. Yes. The war is inevitable, as long as there are more than one world leader and nation, we will never see an end to warfare. People are greedy, countries are greedy as well. Why America fight to Iraq, I think not only for overthrow the terrorism, what’s more, just for the petroleum. Because resource is scarcity, we don’t have enough for our nation, we have to go out of the country, and use violent way to get it. The cake is only available for 5 people, but now, we have 50 people, how to divide it? The most powerful and convenient way is using violence (someone consider), even though it takes a high opportunity cost at the same time. So, the war will not stop unless each member of the world is satisfied.

  17. The war is starting with some of the reasons such as resources, or political problems. The war is never stop in today society, like in China: the problem in the Tibet and TaiWan. They are against with the sovereignty problems. The war is inevitable in the future if they didn’t fit the sovereignty problem one day; however, we can ever see an end to warfare. We can find out the reason and solve the problem in order to stop the war. The war is begin, and one day it will be end.

  19. The war could be omitted if only people realized that it is not going to lead us anywhere, it is a big trap for one's " big eyes". This though, I doubt, is never going to happen.

We live in the world of many different cultures. Every single culture brings it's own believes and rules. Do we want to study in details every single one of them in order to understand variety of behavior and acts? No, it looks like it is easier to enter the particular country and not approve on them with shooting.

In the history, wars were taking place because of tribes existence. Today, however, it is happening because of a profit. "I want what you have and I lack. I am going to get it!"

The paradox of war is though in the question if there is a result, that could be seen and felt right away? I do not think so. Do parties fight for the good of the next generations? If yes, why do they rather not put this enormous energy in replenishing our planet? I think that would be doable, plus, would bring positive result and happy living for everyone.

  20. War is inevitable. It leads to endless disaster. Most wars happen for the reasons about politics, rights and money. More implicit, the wars are fighting for individual's benefits and interests. Not only individual but also countries and nations are greedy and want to protect their interests from others, so wars are one of the methods to achive their goals. As long as the differences between individual to individual or countries to countries are existing, wars are used by them to achieve balance or acquire more and more they want. Therefore, there is no end to warfare.

  21. I do think war is invertible because in every generation there will be some people who have the control of power to lead us to war, people who lead us to war don't think they themselves have a problem but indeed they think they are hero who save the world and kill others to make a better world. This is just base on my opinion to judge those people who like to go to wars. There will be some one from some where just like to go to war because they enjoy the pleasure of killing one another, is just like a game, they wanna play and they wanna win . I dislike this behavior , but i cannot control people who have the military power. It is really hard to end warfare, there are too many people who have problems and just like to kill people with no reason.

  22. Definitely, war is inevitable. Human's greedy essentiality force us seek more money, more station, and more power. The beginning of a batter leads up once has the conflict with the property. Thus, we will see the end of the war when there has only one dominator or humans are not exist anymore.

  23. In my opinion, war is not invertible.
First, most of the people don't want war, because war not only cause thousands of death, but also consumes power of a country(economy). Thus it's not easy to start a war between two countries which have equal power nowadays, and large warfare can be avoid.
Second, motivations of war are--the resource distribution is not balance, when a country needs more resources and profits to develop itself, war might occur. I think war is invertible when country exists. However, I believe in the future, the concept of country will be blurring, even disappear. For example, European Union. Since the two largest war of human history both occured in Europe, I think now European countries are trying to form a union that can keep Europe in peace, and develop their country though cooperation.
Thus, I think war is not invertible, and there will be an end of warfare.

  24. In my opinion, war is inevitable. Historically war has been occured since the beginning of civilization till now. I think that is because of the limitation of resource. We live in earth and the number of people is increasing. So, our society is so competitive and in order to get something we want we have to compete with the others, and mostly the winners can get that they want. Fighting with physical force is a kind of primitive way to resolve trouble and often happens.
